A collection of 5 kyo-uchiwas (Kyoto fans) I designed and developed with Hachiya san, uchiwa maker in Kyoto under my own label KAERAÑ. Urushi (japanese lacquer ) was applied with a large paint brush, to create a graphic pattern of brush strokes. For each uchiwa, a section of the paper sheet was carefully selected to make each uchiwa unique. The handle in Japanese cypress (Hinoki) is dyed with black sumi ink and the structure is in bamboo. They are delivered with a Magnolia (Honoki) wooden support that allows you to put it on a shelf or hang it on a  wall.

自身のレーベル「KAERAÑ」のもと、京都の団扇メーカーである蜂屋さんとデザイン・開発した5枚の京うちわのコレクションです。 漆を大きな筆で塗布し、ブラシストロークのグラフィックパターンを作成しました。 各団扇では、紙シートの一部が慎重に選択され、それぞれの団扇がユニークになります。 柄は檜（ヒノキ）を墨で染め、骨組みは竹です。 マグノリア（ホノキ）製の木製支柱が付属しているので、棚の上に置いたり、壁に掛けたりすることができます。
